BIO
Dr. Oron Fiksel is a Functional Manual Therapist specialized in Orthopedic Manual Therapy currently treating and training privately in South Florida. Dr. Fiksel believes in integrating a holistic, systematic approach, which combines a unique one-on-one multi-systems observation, evaluation and treatment of the human body. Each treatment and evaluation integrates the musculoskeletal, digestive and nervous systems.

He completed an Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship Program through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) with a research focus on the treatment of manual therapy and nutrition for patients with chronic headaches.

Upon completion of his Post Graduate Orthopedic Residency, Oron has treated and mentored around the world including, New York City, New Jersey, India, and most recently in his private practice in Tel-Aviv, Israel. He continues towards excellence through continued education and certifications in a holistic treatment approach.

MY STORY
For the better part of his childhood, Oron suffered from a very rare leg tumor leaving him in a wheelchair or on crutches. Physical limitations and an uncertain future drove an admiration for other children’s natural ability to use their bodies for joy, like riding bikes and playing basketball. This trauma crystalized a lifelong path of patient as healer. Rising above personal physical limitations established a character rooted in determination and compassion.  In this ongoing journey to understand and master optimal function from his own body, Dr. Fiksel has crafted a holistic treatment approach from watching, listening and caring for others.
